Today, I find myself overwhelmed by the idea of packing. My boyfriend is moving in for the summer and I have to consolidate my "stuff". Now, I pride myself on my organization skills but combining two lives into one room- hmm. Over my two years in my current apartment I have collected many recycled bags, decor and other useful items. In a month, those things will be stored... in a box, in the corner of my room. I love sorting and organizing so my trick will be to evaluate what to keep and give away!
I have found that easy ways to consolidate is sorting my clothes. I have plans to donate and give away a lot of the normal donation stores and of course friends. I don't think throwing away anything is eco-friendly or helpful because it will just get added to the many landfills and well, rot. I have been saving "ideas" for my new place in a file ( of course) for fun projects that will continue to organize all my stuff at my new place come the end of summer.
